Exel was a legit company, it wouldn’t have been able to stay in business for as long as it did. I don’t remember why it fell apart, but yes it was legit. Are you looking into joining an mlm company?

It was real and a legitimate company. To be honest with you, very few people earn money through MLM. Only the people at the very top of the pyramid earn good money.

Good luck.

Yes, excel was very successful.

Many people made lots of money, and not just at the top, as as one of the other people answered.

Here is a good article that dispels some of the misconceptions people have about MLM companies:

Many people don’t realize that both Sprint and MCI began as MLM companies.

What happened with Excel was that the owners sold the company.

The new owners failed to understand that the only reason the company had grown as large as it did was the person to person referral marketing the company was built with.

The new owners basically shut out the distributors, who had built the company and it all came undone.

One of the reasons it grew faster and more successfully than many MLM companies was the compensation plan was designed to encourage distributors to continually grow the business by financially rewarding them with success.

Right now, there is a new MLM company that is also in the telecom business- this one providing cell phone s and service all with no contracts no crfedit checks and no deposits, but with rates much lower thatn any of the prepaid companies.

Their comp plan was developed by the same people who did Excel- I know because I was involved in the process of developing the plan.

It puts a full 80% of the revenue back in the pockets of the distributors to keep them financially motivated.
